How to make a post: Click on Sign In (top right corner). Enter the username and password (given in class). Click on New Post. Enter title for post in Subject line. Type main message in text box. Click on Publish.
To View Post: Right click on View Blog. Click on Open in New Window. This week's homework blogger: Your task is to create a post that includes the following information each day - what we did in class, what homework was assigned, and anything exciting that happened. If an assignment or test is scheduled, make sure you include the due date here AND in the class calendar!
To edit the class calendar: Go to this link. Use the same login info as you did for the blog. Click on the Month tab to see the easiest view. Click on the date you for which you wish to enter an event. Type in the information and click Create Event to finish.
Brain Teaser: Before the day you are to show your brain teaser to stump the class, enter it into the class blog. Make the title "Brain Teaser for enter date by enter name".
Tips: If you want to include a hyperlink, select the text or image you wish to link to, click on the chain link icon, copy and paste or type in the url for the site. Right after the site url type a space then target="blank" before you okay the link. This will cause it to open in a new page so you don't lose your blog page!
Cartoon: Before Friday, March 13 at 3:30pm, you need to find a good math cartoon and post its URL on our class wiki. To do this, click here to get to our wiki. Use the same login info. Then follow the directions on the Cartoons page. Have the cartoon page open so you're ready to copy and paste its URL!
